Serve Passionately

Core Values

Glocal Missions

The mission of sharing the gospel starts locally but extends to the farthest reaches of the globe.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Acts 1:8 (NLT)

Empowering Leaders

Kingdom influence expands by equipping, empowering, & releasing leaders.

"Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ."

Ephesians 4:12

Radical Generosity

The heart of God is expressed the most accurate when we give of our time, talent, & treasure.

"Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop."

2 Corinthians 9:6

Unified Diversity

The love expressed among various generations, cultures, & people groups is the greatest testimony to an unbelieving world.

"Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples."

John 13:35

Relational Discipleship

The best context for spiritual growth & transformation is relationships.

"We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too."

1 Thessalonians 2:8

Next Generation

Spiritual succession happens through intentional investment in our young people.

"Now that I am old and gray, do not abandon me, O God. Let me proclaim your power to this new generation, your mighty miracles to all who come after me."

Psalms 71:18

Biblically Based

The teaching & application of the Word of God is the key to building Christ followers.

"But Jesus told him, 'No! The Scriptures say, "People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God." Deut 8:3.'"

Matthew 4:4

Spirit Empowered

Dependence on the presence & the power of the Holy Spirit is essential to build believers & reach the lost.

"But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate (or Comforter, or Encourager, or Counselor. Greek reads "Paraclete.") won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in me. Righteousness is available because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more. Judgment will come because the ruler of this world has already been judged. There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me. All that belongs to the Father is mine; this is why I said, ‘The Spirit will tell you whatever he receives from me.'"

John 16:7-15
